Dangerous Acquaintances
Dangerous Acquantances was the second Dirty
Pair miniseries and later graphic novel (now in its second reprint). The story takes up
back into the first missions of the young Kei and Yuri and their time training at the WWWA
Academy with another Trouble Consultant Team because the #1 galatic criminal they are
after is none other than one of their former comrades, Shasti an adult born genetic human
with multiple personalities and skills beyond par.
Kei and Yuri are relaxing on Rocinante, one
of the few Independant planets in the galaxy, soaking up the rays and men until Kei spots
her arch-nemeisis Shasti! Its their job as Trouble Consultants to take down and bring in
rogue agents and thats what Kei's going to do with Yuri following up to make sure Kei
doesn't get herself into too much trouble (as if the Dirty Pair can NOT get into too much
trouble).
The story flips back and forth between the
current chase to find out what Shasti is up too and how the Lovely Angels are going to
stop her, and why the Angels are after her in the first place. Shasti is a fantastically
Evil original character with femme fatale just oozing like blood out of her gorgeous pores
on her gorgeous body. Like a Siren she draws men to their deaths for her, will she draw
the Dirty Pair to a untimley and messy end as well?
