Fatal But Not Serious
Synopsis : This is my second favourite
Dirty Pair story for two reasons.
1) Where Sim Hell was a 'kei'
story, FBNS is a 'Yuri' story, and Yuri is tops.
2) There are, not one but TWO Yuri's running around causing havoc!
FBNS occurs during KNYCON '41,
a convention held for everything about the Lovely Angels. This year
is special because the Angels are appearing in person! With thousands
of rabid Kei'n'Yuri fans, or kyotaku for short, and thousands more
anti-kyotaku a calamity just has to occur.
And it does thanks to the nefarious
BTR (Bureau of Technological Regulation) and super-stud BTR Agent
Kevin Sleet (from Sim Hell fame). Sleet has stolen the DNA samples
of the Angels and clones our beloved Yuri and fills here up with self-loathing
drugs and the impression that it's eval time and her mission is to
kill herself and her partner Kei.

Chosen instead of Kei (because
even the BTR thought that that would be TOO dangerous), Evil Yuri
plans sure destruction for the Angels, the planet and neighbouring
star systems!
FBNS really delves into the psyche
of Yuri, is she really a nice calm demure Angel of Death who just
wants to 'get along and be liked', or does a more sinister sick and
depraved Jeckyl side exist in her subconsious - and has been brought
out because of Sleets tamerping?
While Kei is relagated to the
side lines in this story, she gets enough action against cyberware
toting terrorists and mecha to keep even the most blind die-hard Kei
fan happy.
